ACIM Lesson 42: My Daily Reflection (God’s strength)

anxiety vs god's strength a man is bathed in light from above as he battles an unseen foe

Day 42: God gives you mental and emotional strength. Trying to develop this strength on your own, won’t work. Because demons step in and muck things up. Anxiety is a direct result.

Pride rules our lives when we parade around like a peacock bragging about our accomplishments. Until someone reminds you that everything you see and every strength you carry comes from God.

Humility. Both power and vision belong to God first. He chooses how much power and vision to give you.

Therefore, there’s nothing for you to take credit for, and nothing to defend.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13

Anxiety distracts you and pulls your mind away from connecting with Team Trinity.

When you step into anxiety and allow it to spiral, you weaken yourself emotionally. Your focus is in on the people in your situations, and not on your Heavenly Father — where real strength comes from.

It’s always your choice to turn your back on a demon and turn your face towards God. Squash (like a bug) anxiety or quash it (annul)? It’s up to you.

Any contract you’ve made with a demon can be annulled. But only with the help of Team Trinity.

Whenever I hear people say, “my anxiety”, it feels like they’re saying, “my demon”. Spiritual warfare isn’t present because you already surrendered to the wrong side.

Strength is reflected when I say, “My heavenly Father, my Jesus, and my Holy Spirit.”

After listening to today’s ACIM video lesson, take a look at the YouTube video description section. Lots of free (and paid) resources and classes taught by Nouk and Coreen are listed there.

Gwyneth Ragsdale is the creator of Demon Spotting™ and founder of DramaGuru Academy. In 2017, Jesus urged her to walk away from New Age practices. With Holy Spirit’s guidance, she built a practical framework for spiritual warfare — revealing the patterns of demons who interfere with you and your loved ones.

Demon Spotting is designed to help you discern whose voice you’re following.

Following God’s voice leads to forgiveness.

Listening to demons lands you in sticky traps.

“I respect your honesty as well. We may express our faith differently, but I think there’s something important in what you said – staying awake, staying aware, and not drifting through life on autopilot. That ‘warrior’ lens you speak from is clearly part of your journey, and I can see the conviction behind it.” Dean Jones
