ACIM Lesson 40: My Daily Reflection (blessed in the mess)

Picking my Battles - Blessed in the Mess

Day 40: Blessed in the mess. Every day, something gets wonky or goes sideways. People say stuff that rubs me the wrong way. I can respond and take the bait, or I can ignore it. That’s called picking your battles.

Besides that, it’s exhausting trying to keep the world lined up to meet my specifications. As soon as I get stuff organized, someone comes along and rearranges things to suit their fancy. How rude! Didn’t even ask me!

So thankfully, today’s ACIM Lesson 40 grants permission to feel good — just because you are blessed as a Son (or Daughter) of God.

Therefore, I just tweeted out a message saying, “I’m happy, peaceful, centered, calm, quiet, assured and protected. I’m full up! So, thanks for offering, but I don’t have room for any of your nonsense today.”

Feeling happy, confident and protected is worth the risk of someone getting upset with me for standing firm.

In Demon Spotting terminology, that’s called standing in neutral position. Ready to respond to boundary violations, but relaxed — not tense.

After listening to today’s ACIM video lesson, take a look at the YouTube video description section. Nouk and Coreen offer resources and classes there.

Permission Granted Today - ACIM Lesson 40
I am blessed as a Son of God.
I am happy, peaceful, loving and contented.
I am calm, quiet, assured, and confident.

Following God’s voice leads to forgiveness.

Listening to demons lands you in sticky traps.
