Yes, You have Demons Hiding in Your Blind Spot

Nathan Reynolds, a man who trained to be a witch from early childhood, issues a warning that the dark agents of Satan are successfully preventing us from recognizing their presence. He said that they’ve put “scales” over our eyes, preventing us from seeing into the spiritual realm.

As far as spiritual warfare is concerned, this is a key advantage for the wrong team. And this counts as a legitimate hole in our game.

Yes, legitimate, as in lawful, based on our hard-heartedness and willingness to be influenced by demons and their human witch accomplices.

The scales provide demons free rein to make us miserable and to shift our focus away from the assignment that the Holy Spirit wants to help us accomplish.

Since I didn’t know the answer to Nathan’s question about “scales”, I looked it up. I also researched Saul of Tarsus.

In this very short video clip below, Nathan mentions “Nahash”. Didn’t know what that was either. So, I researched Nahash too, and I made an amazing discovery about what my Guardian Angel possibly looks like!

And then I wondered why Eve bothered speaking to a “snake” in the Garden of Eden in the first place. Hmm…Turns out, before he “crawled on his belly”, Satan was rather splendid.

Yahweh (another name for God) refers to Satan (aka the King of Tyre in this reference) in the book of Ezekial, chapter 28.

So, if you’ve ever wondered why Satan (Lucifer, the Dark One, The Dragon, The Devil, etc.) is vexed, irritated, furious and generally pissed off with humans, now you know. He got kicked out of heaven!

His crimes were so heinous that he will never return. Therefore, he does whatever he can to interfere with humans. Non-stop. Unrelenting.

Side Note: King James Version of the Holy Bible uses the phrase “pisseth against the wall” to refer to men when speaking emphatically (being insulting). 1 Samuel 25: 21-23

From The Deep End Podcast featuring Taylor Welch, Nathan Reynolds says, “…And they’re locking people out from coming to be able to hear the gospel. Why did Saul of Tarsus have scales on his eyes? Whose scales were those?

I’m sorry. I don’t read in the scripture anywhere else about scales except for this serpent [The Dragon]. The Nahash had scales. These scales were over his [Saul’s] eyes because he was wholly committed to ravage that church. He was brought in to murder, to kill, to destroy. Zealot. All in.

Those scales coming off his eyes were the ways that The Dragon blinds.

It [The Bible] says he blinds the eyes of men so that they cannot see the truth. They cannot hear it. That deafening and dumbing spirit that’s working it’s way over mankind has to yield to the authority of the Most High.

But if we don’t speak the minutia of how these things get implanted, people are lacking understanding. You get programmed in these areas of your brain that can’t speak…”

Saul of Tarsus: The story in Acts 9:18 in the Bible describes Saul’s dramatic conversion experience. He was blinded by a light from heaven and heard the voice of Jesus.

After being blinded, Saul encountered Ananias, who was sent by God to restore his sight.

The scales falling from Saul’s eyes symbolize the removal of spiritual blindness and the revelation of truth.

The phrase “scales have fallen from my eyes” is commonly used to describe the moment when someone recognizes a truth they were previously unaware of. This can be a truth about a person, a situation, or a belief. Source: AI explanation

Seeing into your blind spot is another way of saying, the scales have been removed from your eyes. You can see something that you couldn’t see before.

As an acknowledgment of Saul’s conversion, Jesus gave Saul a new name, Paul. From Saul to Paul. Saul is a Hebrew name (Jewish). Paul is a Roman name.

Jesus gave Paul the assignment to spread his gospel (good news) to the Gentiles (non-Jewish people). Going by Paul instead of Saul was a declaration that he believed Jesus to be the Messiah that the Jews were waiting for.

In Hebrew, the word “Nahash” means serpent or the radiant, shining one. We are known as human beings. Nahash is a different type of being.

Bible scholar, Dr. Eitan Bar explains, “This root idea of shining, glowing, gleaming appears in multiple biblical texts, often associated with divine or angelic beings. Which means that NAHASH might not suggest a serpent—but a reptile-looking, shining angelic being.”

…Indeed, Eve shows no alarm when the NAHASH speaks [in the Garden of Eden]. Why? Because she likely recognized it as one of God’s creatures—familiar, impressive, perhaps even beautiful. She had no reason to distrust it. Not yet.

The text says the NAHASH was ‘more crafty’ (ARUM) than the other beasts—a word that can mean shrewd, cunning, or discerning. But it does not suggest evil—at least not at first.

The danger wasn’t in the serpent’s shape. It was in his speech. What begins as wisdom soon becomes deception.” Hebrew Word Study: SERPENT or SHINING ONE (NAHASH)

Eve was most likely enchanted by Satan’s good looks — what he looked like before he earned the wrath of God and got tossed out of heaven, was transformed to ugly and sentenced to crawling on his belly. (Ezekial 28: 11-19)

Chapter 28 in the book of Ezekial starts out talking about the Prince of Tyre, a man. But in the second half, Yahweh (God) shifts to talking about the King of Tyre, as a sovereign ruler over a territory located on Earth but in the Spiritual Realm.

And Yahweh is not happy with the King of Tyre, formerly known as Lucifer in the Garden of Eden.

Let his words be a warning (reminder) that Dad (Heavenly Father) delivers consequences when punishment is deserved.

"Your vast wealth filled you with violence and sin. So, I cast you down in disgrace from the mountain of God.
I banished you, guardian cherub, from among the stones of fire.
Your heart became swollen with pride because of your beauty. Your thirst for glory corrupted your wisdom.
So, I hurled you down to the earth, and displayed you as a warning to other kings."

Ezekial 28: 16-17

Blind Spot: Satan, as a spiritual entity, can influence people to reject or misunderstand spiritual truths, preventing them from recognizing the gospel message. This “blinding” is not a physical impairment, but rather a spiritual one, hindering the ability to perceive spiritual realities. Source: AI explanation

Old Testament God has, on occasion, turned the hearts of men to stone (Isaiah 6:8-13) and delivered punishments to his chosen people. Our Heavenly Father is a jealous God. There are serious consequences when you yoke (connect) with demons and let them lead you astray.

Satan, that clever Dragon, has a multitude of ways (including witchcraft) to distract and destroy humans, leaving us deaf, dumb and blind when it comes to seeing into Spiritual Realms.

That means demons can stand right next to us…and we don’t feel them, see them, sense them or smell them. Sounds dangerous, actually.

By favorite demon (or witch), I mean the one who whispers to you all the time. The one you listen to. That’s the one who has taken the place of The Helper (Holy Spirit) that Jesus gave to you.

John referenced Isaiah the Prophet who predicted that the Jews who, even after witnessing his miracles, still would not accept Jesus as the Messiah.
“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn — and I would heal them.”

John 12:37-41 NIV

Does this mean God has blinded their eyes or does it refer to Satan deceiving and wrecking humans to cause them to worship him instead of their Heavenly Father?

Both sides in this war have access to tools and weapons. Satan’s tools muddy, interfere and cause separation. He uses other humans and witches to do his dirty work for him.

I’ve experienced the power of applying the Demon Spotting (aka DramaGuru) Code Words to my personal situations. After many years of practice, I spot slippery situations quicker as people try to work their manipulative games on me.

I swiftly respond with a well-trained block (when I’m working my best game). Sometimes, the tone of the conversation turns friendlier. Sometimes, it doesn’t.

Inside of my DramaGuru Academy, I work with students who want to practice dealing with conversational attacks using the code words to dissect and analyze what’s going on.

Because humans are creatures of habit, pattern recognition is key to spotting which attack is in play.

Most people just aren’t that slick. It’s easy to flush them out. The hard part is dealing with the emotional fallout from being attacked by people who don’t respect you.

I’ve mentioned before that Holy Spirit tells me that my Guardian Angel looks like, what I would call, a lizard.

After doing research for this post, I now believe my Guardian is a shiny Nahash, as explained above by Dr. Eitan Bar who was born in 1984 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Dr. Bar is a Bible scholar, indie author, and Israeli-Jewish follower of Jesus with multiple advanced degrees in Bible and theology.

I’m grateful to Spirit for finding a way to help me understand that the powerful being who protects me is radiant and reptilian, and more glorious than an ordinary garden lizard.

Before today, I’ve pictured my Guardian Angel as a human man or a woman. But a recent experience from a couple of weeks ago shifted my understanding of what he might look like based on how he responded in the spiritual realm.

I was on my laptop busily doing stuff when I suddenly flinched backward as I felt something coming straight for my head.

Whoa! What just happened? I froze with my fingers still on the keys. What the heck? Dang, Guardian Angel! You are a badass.

He doesn’t talk to me. Or maybe he does, but I can’t hear him. But I was very glad he was there. Now that I have a better description, I wish I could see him.

I would not be surprised if my Guardian used a Georges St-Pierre (GSP) “cat and mouse strategy” to draw that demon out into the open…and then eat it.

GSP is one of my all-time favorite UFC fighters. He’s French-Canadian. “Quel hommage, GSP!” which means, Georges, I have much respect for you and your superman punch.

This image reflects the power I felt, suddenly swooshing past my right ear. My angel moved forward, with intention, at great speed.

Poor demon. You didn’t stand a chance.

I’m a Warrior in the Spirit because I am yoked with Jesus and with the Holy Spirit. One yoke at a time. Jesus leads me emotionally. Holy Spirit leads me to do practical tasks.

Trust me on this…I would never be so brave without them. I follow where they lead. As a human, my job is to do as I’m told and stay out of the way. I have no special powers to defeat demons. I follow and believe what Jesus said about my ability to cast out demons.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Just for the record, I don’t feel ready to test the picking up snakes or drinking poison abilities, but I do like the idea of driving out demons and speaking in “tongues”, plus some new languages I’ve never learned before. And it would be nice to heal sick people.

Thank you for the gifts you have granted me in this regard. Thank you for making this power available to all believers through the Holy Spirit. I’m honored to be chosen to fight this spiritual battle by simply resisting the devil and standing firm in my faith with Jesus, the Holy Spirit and my Guardian Angel by my side.

In the name of the Father, his son Jesus and the Holy Spirit,

Amen.
