Chameleon Position, one of the Demon Spotting code words, is used to trap an unsuspecting person. Obviously, chameleons blend in and then strike. But a person who is capable of setting a black-belt level chameleon trap knows how to capture the weak and the strong–with the same trap.
The act of “blending in” is neither good nor bad. However, when someone weaponizes their behavior to trap you, then that is a horse of a different color.

Here’s a deadly combination used mostly for shaming: Chameleon Position combined with the Sneaky Millie Attack, which is any action that results in trickery, deceit or betrayal.
Of course, this familiar behavior pattern is not a new idea. You’ve seen this before because it’s probably already happened to you at least once or twice in your life.
Social Chameleon Position
If someone takes the social chameleon position with you, be on your guard. Something nasty is about to happen. You are speaking to a pretender who is not very nice.
Look for patterns in behavior. Keep your distance if a person starts acting in any of the following ways and their behavior makes you feel uncomfortable:
- Blending in with the scenery: Aiming to be perceived as similar to others. You think, “He must be okay since he seems to know my friends.”
- Pulling the wool over your eyes: tricking or deceiving to gain an advantage.
- Leading you up the garden path: pretending to be something they are not in order to convince you to follow them.
- Pulling a fast one: making an effort to trick, bamboozle, hoodwink, defraud, or cheat.
- Trying to be slick: acting like he is the man by name-dropping, pretending he knows how to do things. Using flattery or charm to manipulate and gain an advantage.
- A fly on the wall: hiding in plain sight, watching and listening, waiting for an opening.
Social Organizations and Churches are great hiding places for Chameleons, especially if the right people stick up for them.
When the right people stick up for you, meaning defend or support you, you can get away with things.
It’s not that anyone gives you permission. It’s just that because certain people think you’re GREAT, then it must be true, that you are to be trusted.
In my Demon Spotting game, I call that unwarranted insider support, The Eddie Attack. When your back-up has power, no one questions what you do.
Speaking of power, newly appointed Pope Leo, recently made a video acknowledging the Knights of Columbus for their good works during their Supreme Convention gathering in Washington, D.C.
On the other hand, ex-witch, Nathan Reynolds, reports in his book and youtube videos that he was sexually and physically abused by members of the Knights of Columbus.
Chameleon traps are super sticky—so sticky that even strong leaders, bound by secrecy, can’t escape. The result? The Chameleon scores a lethal two-for-one capture.
As I listened to Pope Leo’s video, I felt the trap that chameleons create deepen.
No one wants to throw the baby out with the bath water, meaning that something good is thrown out with something bad.
So, here’s Pope Leo, Sovereign of Vatican City State, saying nice things that cover both the good and the bad men in the Knights of Columbus organization.
On the macro level, it seems like there’s nothing to be done when bad behavior takes place behind closed doors.
But, on the micro level, I hope my Demon Spotting game and code words help you to spot the Chameleon trap before you fall in it.
Weaponizing Forgiveness
Demons and witches are defeated in the Spiritual Realm, the second heaven, first. As above, so below.
And with help from our Heavenly Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, we will heal.
I believe that spiritual warfare exists and that we all have a role to play as requested by Jesus and with the help of the Holy Spirit.
"Bless your enemies. No cursing under your breath."
Romans 12:14 The Message Translation
Okay, message received. Here’s a blessing for the evil ones who set Chameleon traps. It’s from the Forgiveness Prayer written by Mary Lou Lake.
"Dear Heavenly Father,
I ask You to break all of their occult power to the highest levels, making it impossible for them to be used by the kingdom of darkness to harm anyone.
In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Amen"
Con Man, Chameleon Trap
If you’ve had a negative experience with a person using a chameleon trap, learn from it.
Helping someone else — as in preventing them from getting trapped or releasing them from a trap — is guaranteed to help you heal from your experience.
Con artists are very clever, seductive people. Just like the demons and witches who whisper in their ears and guide them to perform their evil deeds.
You know people who act like this. Don’t be shocked when certain people’s faces float in front of you.
Chameleon (Con Man) Skill Set
Con man is short for “confidence man”. The term is used for people who let you know how much they trust you first, so naturally, you believe you can trust them too. They gain your confidence because you think this person is JUST LIKE YOU.
But they are not.
AI Definition: “Con artists have an exceptional ability to adapt their behavior, personality, and even identity to flawlessly blend into any situation or among any group of people in order to manipulate and deceive their victims.
Think of it like a chameleon changing its skin color to match its surroundings perfectly. A con man acts similarly, but with their social demeanor:
- Blending In: They quickly assess the environment and the people within it, adjusting their speech, mannerisms, and even beliefs to appear relatable and trustworthy, according to Psychology Today and the North American Securities Administrators Association – NASAA.
- Mirroring: They may adopt the language, values, and interests of their target to build rapport and create a sense of shared understanding.
- Disguising Motives: The chameleon-like behavior is a tactic to obscure their true intentions, which are usually to gain someone’s trust to exploit them for personal gain, usually financial, says NASAA.
- Adapting to Vulnerabilities: A con artist will analyze their victim’s weaknesses, whether it’s loneliness, financial desire, or a charitable nature, and tailor their persona to appeal to those vulnerabilities.
This analogy highlights the cunning and manipulative nature of a con artist, emphasizing their ability to seamlessly integrate into different social landscapes to execute their schemes.”
AI wraps things up so nicely.
Remember! Protect yourself. Keep your distance and your guard up around these people. And get someone in your corner to advise you and keep you safe.
